Eco friendly and other similar terms; earth friendly, environmentally friendly and green are the terms used by manufacturers and service providers to describe products and services that cause minimal damage to the environment. By the same token these products and services are claimed to have positive impact on the planet earth and ecological environment. Environmentally conscious consumers look for such products in food items, wearables , appliances and even buildings when shopping for their daily needs. As a result of this environmental impact awareness, a large market segment of green products & services has emerged over the last decade or two and it continues to evolve, literally encompassing every facet of our daily lives. From wind power to solar power and organically grown crops to produce organic food and fibers for fabrics to produce organic clothing, eco friendly products and services are making a surge that mankind did not experience in the pre 19th century world.
